On a Twitter post by SPFPA Region 3 Vice President Ryan Kelly, and an Executive Board member of the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA), Kelly clearly shows his discontent for the 2020 presidential election citing: "The 2020 U.S. General Election is Illegitimate" followed with a SWASTIKA on the Twitter Logo dated Jan 8th.

This was clearly a conflict of interest and SPFPA President David L. Hickey knew about this conflict of interest between SPFPA, and Patronus Systems since 2010 and did nothing about it. WHY -- That's over a decade of silence. --Members deserved protection.

Three officers of a Walt Disney Land local police security union allegedly received payoffs to affiliate with a national union, according to sources, and the U.S. Department of Labor is now investigating. IESA Local 1955, which represents about 1,500 security personnel in California’s Disneyland, became affiliated with the Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA) in October 2021.

The former Secretary-Treasurer of Security Police Fire Professionals of America SPFPA Local 287 Milton Hilliard pleaded guilty today to theft from a labor organization in violation of his fiduciary responsibilities as a union officer.

On September 26, Laura Cloyd, former financial secretary of Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America Local 112, pleaded guilty in the Campbell County, Kentucky Circuit Court to one count of felony theft and one count of misdemeanor theft from the Alexandria, Ky.-based union.  A month later, on October 25, she was sentenced to three years of diversion and ordered to pay $1,669 in restitution.  The actions follow an investigation by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office

On August 23, Esper Alexander, former president of Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America Local 1111, was sentenced in Wayne County (Michigan) District Court for the State of Michigan to six months of probation and three days of community service for larceny by conversion of funds from the Detroit union in a sum of at least $200 but less than $1,000. On February 15, Devon Madray, former president of Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA) Local 119, was sentenced in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan to five years of probation and ordered to pay $20,097 in restitution and a $100 special assessment, for embezzling funds from the Roseville, Mich. union.
