STATEMENT OF FACTS SPFPA President David L. Hickey CANNOT DENY! International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA). is a labor organization based in Roseville, Michigan that represents protective security officers at federal workplaces. Pursuant to that representation, SPFPA executed collective bargaining agreements with several employers covering the security industry in several states.

It is time for a leadership transition at SPFPA. ​​ David L. Hickey has led this union for decades, but tenure alone cannot justify the decisions that have put millions of dollars in member dues at risk. According to the Department of Labor Records filed by SPFPA, since 2017, SPFPA Hickey has spent more than $3,000,000 million dollars in legal fees from his dues paying members hard earned money pursuing legal action against a rival union—without recovering a single dollar.

This was clearly a conflict of interest and SPFPA President David L. Hickey knew about this conflict of interest between SPFPA, and Patronus Systems since 2010 and did nothing about it. WHY -- That's over a decade of silence. --Members deserved protection.
